Odor Removal Process
Odor can be one of the most difficult things to remove in a car. Smoke, dogs, and other environmental factors can leave an unpleasant odor in the upholstery and air of your car.
When it comes to odor removal there are many things to consider: what caused the small? And how long has the smell been there?
In order to remove as much odor as possible there are protocols in place.
- Deep Interior Vacuum
All interior surfaces will be vacuumed like in between the seats, carpets, floor mats and even the headliner to remove build up
- Steam Cleaning & Scrubbing Interior Plastics and Leather
Using proper chemicals we will clean plastic, leather and rubber surfaces to remove the build up and dirt. We will steam clean all necessary carpets and plastics to ensure the surface is clean.
- Shampoo Seats & Carpet
All fabrics will be shampooed to lift up as much staining as possible. The seats, carpet, floor mats, seat belts, and if possible, headliner will be lightly shampooed.
- Extract All Fabric Surfaces
Using our hot water extractor we will extract all the surfaces that were shampooed.
- Clean windows and Mirrors
Every interior window and mirror will be cleaned to remove smoke residue and leave a streak-free appearance
- Leather Treatment & Plastic (1-year Protection)
We will then apply leather and plastic treatment on all interior surfaces.
- Completely Dry Interior
Before we can continue, the interior must be 100% dry. We'll place air movers across the interior to speed up the drying. Based on the condition, this vary greatly in time.
- Ozone Treatment
With our ozone machine, we are able to leave it on for 2 to 5 hours to remove as much odor as possible. Depending on condition it may need to be repeated.

Can you do the odor removal service at my home or office location?
Due to the extensive amount of time it takes to complete this detailing service, all odor removal services must be completed at our shop located at 1634 Elmwood Ave Cranston RI
Will all of the odor be removed?
While we have 3 years of experience and have done odor removal on hundreds of cars, we always try our best to remove all odors. If from the day after your appointment to 3 weeks after your appointment the odor is present again, you can drop your car off and we will run the ozone machine for another hour for no extra charge!
Will all stains get removed from the upholstery?
We always try our hardest to remove all stains, but facts such as what caused the stain and how long the stain has been there all play a role in the success of removing the stain. We can not guarantee that all stains will be removed.
